The former is easily recognised and is psychedelic, while the latter was more subtle using the sgraffito technique to create the “silhouette” designs.
The bass performance of the Eternal was refined and well-balanced compared to the Hook X, but lacked the latter’s prominent mid-bass thump and slam. It also had a good midrange with plenty of texture, muscle and detailed transients. The vocals and instruments were also well-representative.
